Hand-painted Easter eggs

We simply love hand-painted Easter eggs, they look so enchanting. The only problem is that it feels a bit laborious and tricky task to empty all those eggs: so many omelets to eat 🙂 But no worries, you can find several different solutions available at hobby stores. We personally like wooden eggs but some prefer paper eggs or even plastic ones.

Our egg in the picture below is relatively big and made of wood. We painted it with powder colors that are perhaps more known from religious icon painting, not egg painting 🙂 However, we think that we were able to create quite nice and vivid colors with them. This egg is also suitable for kids to handle since it is durable and not afraid of small hits 🙂
